Concertina partition doors are a made to measure cost effective solution to quickly divide an area for multiple uses. As such fabric partition systems are widely used in educational establishments such as primary schools and children’s nurseries where the configuration of the room needs to be changed quickly and easily. They offer robust construction and aesthetically pleasing practicality at an affordable price. Comprising an internal pantograph steel framework covered with robust vinyl coated fabric, they glide effortlessly and silently on heavy duty aluminium track. For maximum versatility, the fully hinged concertina system is either hung from a suitable support (so no floor track is required), or made to be bottom rolling with a guide track at the top.

Hardware Specifications

  • The fabric coating on the individual panels of the partition system is fully washable and contains antimicrobials to protect against mildew, mould, fungi and bacteria and has also been tested using MRSA prevention products making it an ideal solution for dividing spaces in hospitals and medical centres.
  • Folding Fabric partitions are lightweight, easy and smooth to operate and do not cause any obstruction on the floor space.
  • Various stacking options available. Choose from wide or slimline stacking, stacking at one end, both ends or either end using a floating wing.
  • Choice of different acoustic reduction – up to RwdB>35
  • Available in 24 standard colours with special colours available to order and can also be made with a different colour on each side.
  • Achieve fire retardancy to class “I” and “0” of BS476 Flame Spread and offer an early fire warning by reacting to heat and releasing a vapour which will set off an ionization type smoke detector.
